About Write4Homeschool
We are a homeschooling family and therefore understand all of the challenges that face a family who makes the decision to educate at home. We understand the daunting task of choosing the right curriculum among hundreds of choices, and so we've made ours unique. We understand the pressures of planning a school day and then carrying out those plans, so we've provided detailed plans which your student may complete independently and at his or her own pace. And, while we know socialization is never an issue, we do understand the different dynamic a classroom at home presents, so we have created a program which includes plenty of teacher-student interaction as well as interaction among students. About Your Personal Teacher
Mrs. Pierce is a certified English teacher whose professional experience is in the high school classroom. In addition, she co-authored a study guide for standardized testing, and you will find some of the material from that book sprinkled here and there throughout each course. You might well find references to Africa as well, a reflection of Mrs. Pierce's growing-up years as a missionary kid (incidentally, she met a certain Mr. Pierce there as well!). And as a mother of four, the lessons are certainly marked by the energy that embodies a young family of six.
Mrs. Pierce considers it a great blessing to have the opportunity to teach English once again...from home where she cares for and educates her own kids. And what an added advantage to teach in a classroom with no walls, a classroom that can seat students worldwide!
