How long does each class take?

Write4Homeschool classes are designed to be completed at your own pace. There are a sufficient number of lessons and activities to fill a full school year. Because of the depth of these assignments, however, some students may be more comfortable working at a slower pace and thus stretching the lessons over the course of two school years.

Is the content of the literature appropriate?

We have made every effort to select the best classic literature in our world's history. We feel that, while some of the literature may include controversial topics, approaching these topics as a family encourages deep and meaningful conversations. Classic works of literature may indeed explore some deep themes and address controversial matters, but it is these explorations that make these books so grand in their historical standing. Write4Homeschool will always note on the Course Description of each class any mature themes presented in recommended literature.

Do the classes contain religious content?

First, it should be stated that the author of Write4Homeschool curriculum makes no effort to be "politically correct" or to hide her belief in God. That said, it should be noted that discussions of all literature are conducted with the goal of allowing the student to think for him or herself. Additionally, because it is important that young people be able to view the world around them objectively, a variety of religions and beliefs are brought to light in the course of each class. Literature in itself tends to be inherently religious simply because an author is likely to allow his personal beliefs to be interwoven through his text.
